<p>What to do?
My friend got waitlisted to UCD and UCR.
Can he appeal to UCD and UCR the same time and SIR to UCM.
UCM is backup for him.
He prefer to go to UCD, but it is hard to get in.
However he prefer UCR than UCM.
In my opinion he should forget about UCD and try to get to UCR.
What is your opinion?</p>
<p>He should appeal if he has new and compelling information. UC Davis is pretty good about managing its waitlist and if your friend writes a good waitlist statement, there is decent chance he will get off the list.</p>
<p>I was waitlisted to UCD as well and I REALLY hope i get in, im just really nervous because my major is Biological Sciences and I know that that’s a very competitive college to get into.</p>
<p>I would appeal but I know that I don’t have anything new to say so I know it would basically just be me pleading to be let in without any hard evidence, so i’m just going to cross my fingers and hope to get in through the waitlist</p>
