<p>I told them that I want to remain waitlisted, but when do I get the final decision?
Rumor has it on CC that they took a lot of people for the waitlist; does this mean that I didn't have a chance to begin with and this was a decision given to me out of pity?</p>
<p>Besides the pessimism, I want to try my best before the final verdict. What should I do? I know that I should notify admissions that UofC is my top choice, but do I contact using the phone or email? To the dean or the office? What impact will this have?</p>
<p>Also, for the teacher recommendation, I'm supposing this should be from a new teacher? As for the list of recent events that have happened to me, I only received one significant one, should I still tell them?</p>
