hi!
I just got a letter today saying that I was put on the waitlist for Wagner’s Theatre Performance program. Does anyone know what the likelihood is that someone will get in from the waitlist?

It’s tough to tell with any school when people actually will be accepted off the wait list. I remember at the audition day, I believe the department head (or someone of that level of knowledge on the subject) said they accept around 40-ish to yield a class of about 35 (my figures could be off…). Which means if even ten or so decline enrollment, they might start accepting wait listed applicants.

Good luck, mthopeful!

Right about now is a good time for a follow-up phone call to let (is it still McDonald?) them know you are still interested in their school and where do you stand on the waitlist. Or your parents can call on your behalf to let them know Wagner is their pick for you- they really like the program for you- and where do you stand on the waitlist. This worked for us 2 years ago. Good luck!
