Wake Forest, Boston University, F&M, NYU, University of Rochester, Occidental or GWU? For Pre-Med?

Hey guys. I was admitted into WFU, BU, F&M, NYU, UoR, Occidental and GWU. Though I have researched a lot on the pre-medicine program in the different universities mentioned above, I still have not made a decision on which school to attend this fall. Any opinions or help would be greatly appreciated!

While choosing which school to attend, academics is my number 1 priority. I want to attend a university, which would grant me the best opportunity of going to a really good medical school (though it really does depend on my hard work). Specifically, the school which would prepare me best for the MCAT, medical school and also provide research opportunities for medical school.

I haven’t really prioritized any other factor than academics, as I am open to attend any of the 7 schools.

So which school in your opinion has the best pre-med program and would prepare me best for medical school? And also provide research opportunities as well? Also, if you know anything about the pre-med program at any of the schools, that would also help a lot.

Again, thank you for your help!

Four of your choices (F&M, UR, NYU and WFU) appear on this online list, “The Experts’ Choice: Colleges with Great Pre-med Programs,” should this be of interest to you. From what you have written, I could see you at several of your options, with URochester possibly being the front-runner.

Yeah, the first thing you should do is cut WFU, BU, and GWU. These schools are not good at all for pre med. as for the others, go with where you could see yourself best and where you can afford

@blueguy99 just curious but why do you say wfu, bu, and gwu are not got for pre med?

Notorious for difficult grading @pitt2021

The cheapest one.
