Want a few more books..

I just took my January SAT, and although I do not have my score back, I feel as if I can improve whatever it turns out to be.

I currently own the Princeton Review: Cracking the SAT(which i didn't like too much) and the College Board Blue Book (which i will use for practice tests)

I think i need to improve my vocabulary because I definitely struggled on the sentence completions, so i just placed an order for the Direct Hits Volumes. Taking the SAT, I find CR to be the hardest, the essay behind it i guess, then math isn't too bad and the writing MC seems very easy

I've read recommendations for books like..Rocket Review, Maximum Sat, Barrons, Grubers...
If I was to just pick one/two books..which would you recommend???

thanks!

whatever you do, do not get the kaplan book- many of the practice questions are impossible, unclear, or have the wrong answers listed in the back of the book. unless the book has improved since last year...

RR for writing, Gruber's for math, and Maximum is very good too, imo. I'd stay away from barron's. It really depends on your strengths, which only you can assess.

ummm i was just looking at the maximum sat...and on google, it seems as if i can "preview" the book but it gives me every page of it haha

oh wait nvm..it only previews 216 pages..out of about 350 i think
