Im going to be a senior next year and want to become an engineer and got a letter about the six week program at vanderbihlt. I Havnt taken act or sat, Havnt gotten rank yet but will soon! >.< im making about 93 average, all pap classes and AP chem. Im involved in theater, dance, colorgaurd, art, and NHS. I do have ADD but Idk if that affects anything. Didn't take any AP classes until this year though, but i have taken 2 dual credit classes. Is this enough to get in? Im rather worried, and wondering if i should just not try and apply.

Apply. You’re not going to lose anything but some time and the application fee.

APPLY ANYWAY!

You never know if you don’t try. If you don’t, you’ll always wonder what could have happened if you had applied.

Not applying is the only way to ensure 0% chance of getting in.

Thanks! I’ve been thinking to do it anyways but wasn’t sure.

from what I know, PAVE is not that much of a selective program; they just look at money. It’s a fun program but in my opinion it’s all fun and fun only. If you apply, you have at least an 75% chance of getting in.

Another reason why Im hesitant is that idk if the program is worth 6 weeks of my time, and i want to go only if it’ll truly help me
