want to know my chances to any college.

I’m a junior and so far my grades aren’t too hot compared to everyone else on this forum. Recently, I have gotten in an argument with my parents about my life, and they tell me that with the grades and EC I have right now, the highest college I can go to is UCI. Since they haven’t experienced college applications in America, I need help from students who actually know how the college acceptance process works and what colleges look into.
So far these are the classes I took and the grades corresponding with it. My school only has 6 periods by the way.

So with what I have so far, what colleges do YOU guys think I am in reach realistically.

Home state? Intended major? How much will parents pay?

Also SAT/ACT test scores? GPA indicates you are not ready for a 4 year university and attending a CCC will allow you a second chance to prove yourself.

@Gumbymom‌ OP listed GPAs over 4 for both freshman and sophomore years (presumably weighted). Unless I’m misreading the post and OP’s school uses something besides a 4-point grading scale, that seems like it would be more than fine for most 4-year colleges.

Those extracurriculars, however…ouch.

Sorry,
Ignore above post #2. Posted on wrong thread. Trying to find out why parents state UCI would be the only option so need to know if in-state and what parents want to pay…

OP you have a competitive GPA and if you do well on the SAT/ACT, you have so many options. UCB/UCLA/Claremont Colleges/USC etc… are all within reach. You need to find out how much your parents are willing to spend on your education first, so posters can you give some ideas. Sorry for the above post, go my threads mixed up… Good Luck to you
