<p>DD, a vegetarian and then-hippyish (quirky…), applied to WW a few years ago. When we visited, she loved the campus, but she was disappointed with the academics and the heavy (tobacco) smoking. She attended elsewhere for the academics, but has a soft spot for WW this day.</p>
<p>I wonder if the composition of the faculty has become more diverse?</p>
<p>We live in NC and visited Warren Wilson, it is a cool little place but here is what bothered me most…a whole heck of a lot of freshman class does not return. My S thought it read well but the tour did not translate into what he hoped regarding academics. Guilford, UNC-asheville, goucher in MD, are all great earthy schools …take a look, visit, only you will know where you fit…</p>
