Was anyone else told their RD admission status in an email from Altman today?

I got an email today from Altman Program in International Studies and Business inviting me to apply, which is cool, but the big deal is that the email started with “Dear Student, Congratulations on your admission to Tulane!”. I know that RD decisions don’t usually come out until AT LEAST February, so I check Gibson and that says my application is still in review. I tried to call Undergrad Admissions, but their phones were all full, so I could only leave a message.

Did this happen to anyone else? What do you think it means…?

@JustOneDad‌ well I kind of assumed that, thanks. I’m hoping that someone who got through would be able to tell me what they said.

There was a post on another thread from an international student that got that same email without having been accepted yet, at least according to Gibson. Maybe the Altman people had a computer glitch. If so, they must know about it by now. Give it another day or so and see if there is a followup from them.
