Bump…anymore chances or advice???

I don’t know much about your fin aid opportunity due to your circumstances, but I know Penn State definitely does not give any HELPFUL aid. You should try more business private schools (ie. Babson, Bentley) for aid. As for overall chances, I’d say your only reaches would be UNC (competitive OOS), Cornell (SAT may be a little low, but URM could help) and Emory (SAT may be a little low as well). The UC schools have so many applicants that they may not value your circumstances as much as the others, and are very GPA focused. You should see what your UC GPA would be; if it’s below 3.6 I’d say they’d be tough to get accepted as well (URM basically doesn’t matter there). Hope this helped!

@TrueOverachiever that helped alot, thanks so much for your input! Anyone else?

I would say that Cornell and Emory are your reaches. UNC is a high match for you, considering your EC’s and awards make you look unique. I don’t know anything about financial aid for these schools, so I apologize for that. Good luck!

University of North Carolina - Chapel Hill - reach/high match
UCLA - reach
UC Berkeley - reach
Penn State University Park - probable
University of Miami - reach/high match
Cornell University - reach for everyone
University of Southern California - low reach
University of Connecticut - match/safety
Emory University - reach

This is not taking financial aid into consideration, but just my perspective on things. I am sort of close to your stats, so I’ve been told similar things. Hope this helps & good luck!

Everything stats and EC-wise looks pretty good, but some of my predictions could be off depending on how much aid you need.

Dude I don’t know too much about most of the schools you applied to besides Cornell UCLA and Berkeley and this schools are always reaches for everyone. I just hope you applied to some safety schools

Besides Cornell, others seem as a cakewalk for your credentials. Best of Luck.

Thanks so much guys! You all are helping so much
