to sign up for a class in Wilson Hall and a class in Crawford (commons) back to back (one ends at 10:55 and the other starts at 11)? How far is the walk/run? I don't want to be late every time to my class in Crawford but I really want to take both classes and neither class is offered at another time that would work for me. Should I just email my professor beforehand and let them know that I am trying my hardest to be on time but it may not always happen? Thanks!

You should be alright. I had a couple classes like that throughout my undergrad career. In general, professors don’t mind if you cut out early or show up a few minutes late. Especially if it’s a large class. Give it a shot for a couple days when classes start. If you don’t think it will work you can always change your schedule.

Wow, how do you do that? It takes 15 minutes for me to walk from Wilson to Commons. I would say it depends on the class. If it’s one of those class discussions where you can just study the textbook and write awesome essays, then you’ll probably be fine. At worst, you’ll miss the first part of many lectures and lose points on your exams (or have a more difficult time studying). At best, you’ll run your ass off all the time and be exhausted.

I don’t recommend this. Some professors will call you out if you constantly walk in late to class. Unless you have a class in Stevenson Center, scheduling classes on main campus and Peabody back to back is a really bad idea.

All the way to Peabody is a bit far…If it was Wilson to Stevenson or Buttrick you’d be ok. I also misread the OP’s time frame. Thought it was 11:10 starting time.

crawford to wilson is def not doable in the allotted time. You should definitely email your professors before hand and explain your situation, and speak to them in class to remind them. Most professors have no problem with you leaving a little early or getting in late if you have a valid excuse such as coming from crawford to wilson.

It might be doable if you invest in a bike, otherwise you might be pushing your luck.
