<p>It certainly means your numbers are good enough. Unless there’s something that triggers an alarm from your personal statements or other components in the main application to VT, I’d imagine that the honors acceptance to VT admission ratio is nearly 1-1 but with nearly being the key word.</p>

<p>They’re very clear in the honors letter that it is NOT an admissions notification, but I agree that the logical inference is that your standardized tests and GPA make you an applicant that VT wants to encourage to attend.</p>
