What are my chances of getting into WashU or Tufts?

My GPA unweighted is a 3.89 and weighted is a 4.82
I have taken or will have taken by graduation 6 AP classes. So far, I have earned a 5 on APUSH and I am waiting on AP Psych and AP English. I got a 750 on the SAT Subject Test in US History.
My ACT score is a 31.
I go to an inner city public school.

As far as activities go, I started a few clubs at school and am president:
Model UN
Book Club

I have just been elected as the president of the National Honor Society at school.
I have been asked to start a Best Buddies club as well (a club to connect mainstream students with students with severe disabilities). For three summers, I was a volunteer counselor at a camp for children with disabilities.

I have an internship this summer in a psychology lab at UChicago, which is the career path I plan to pursue. I want to major in psychology.

I have gone to three summer programs at Brown, Stanford, and Northwestern. The latter two were also in psychology courses.

I have visited all of their campuses, if that makes a difference.

Please give me advice!! What more can I do? Thank you!!

Stanford: High reach
Chicago: High reach
Brown: Reach
Northwestern: Reach
WUSTL: Reach
Tufts: Low reach
If you get your ACT up to a 33 your chances will increase a bit, but these are reach/low reach schools for everyone. Tufts is the least selective of them and still nobody can say, “oh yeah, Tufts is a match,” because nobody has a 50% chance of getting in unless he or she is majorly hooked.
So:
I think you should add a few true admissions matches (or slightly high matches) that are also quality schools – like UW-Madison, Boston U, and Tulane – and a safety.
Agree totally with Prezbucky. BTW, Tulane’s 25%-75% ACT is 30-33. Admit rate is in the high 20s and the admissions office is very much interested in fit – e.g., knowledge of school, commitment to public service (Lord knows New Orleans needs Tulane badly), international orientation (particularly with Latin America), and a strong interest in interdisciplinary studies. Best of luck to you!
@NJDad68 Thanks for that info. Tulane is on our list, and your information summarizes some things we’ve heard about admissions there. Who cares if you’re talking to a Tufts frosh!
