I know WashU's sciences/premed program is very highly regarded but I was wondering if anyone knew anything about the prelaw program. I know they dont have a "track" persay but maybe percentages and advising feedback? Thanks for the time.

My son who is a junior is seriously considering law school and so far he thinks it has been a great education for that. He is an IPH major
( Interdisciplinary study of the Humanities) with a big emphasis on history. It's my impression from talking to him that the advising is excellent for law - lots of informational meetings and just overall good academic advising. He has great personal contact with professors which helps with letters of recommendation. I don't have any data on percentages but Wash U numbers have gone up in the past few years in students admitted to Yale Law. I think when I checked in 2003 they had 0 and last year maybe 3 - nothing comparable to HYP numbers but an improvement nonetheless. You might want to check out the Law School forum if you haven't already.
