I am pondering around several CC top universities, but what is special about WashU? Anything (academic, student life, location...) will single WashU out? Can you guys tell me in specific details?

Thanks.

IMO taking a visit there (if possible) is the best way to answer your question. Go meet some students, the faculty, sit in on a class or two, and enjoy the campus life to get the right idea of WashU

Hopefully, some Wash U students will answer your question. My S goes there and according to him the overall experience (academics, social life, living arrangements, food, and outside activities/opportunities) at Wash U has been fantastic so far.
