Watered down Senior Courses?

Hi, Im a rising senior who is going to apply to Brown.

I recently discovered how watered down my Senior courses are looking on paper. In reality they are very challenging courses, but the fact that I took 6 “AP” classes last year opposed to 2 this year, makes it really suspicious.

I am taking Multivariable Calculus, which doesn’t even have AP or honors or level label. I am required to take Physical Education and Health as State-wide requirement for graduation. Then I have Band, which I cannot give up because I love it!

After that I have honors literature, which is a step down from AP Lit, though I took AP Language last year, I know that this class at our school is legendary for making people go crazy and I wanted to spend my time working on college apps and senior year stuff.

Then I have AP physics Emag and AP Economics. Lastly I have a language course level 5.
Last years was the only AP year, and since our class is finished with AP exams, our course is labeled honors.

Would this be a disadvantage when I am sending applications to colleges?
It seems like on paper I have really easy schedule compared to my Junior year schedule.

I didn’t mean for this to happen other than lowering my Literature class level.

Thanks for your time!

No worries on multivariable calc. They realize there isn’t an AP version. Same with the language class, since you already took the AP. As long as your schedule shows that you’re pushing yourself and taking a harder class load than most of your classmates, you’ll be ok.
