WBB 2024 (and realistic alternatives for those who didn't make it)

Was wondering if anyone got into WBB.

I found out I got in this morning through the portal!

Also, for those who don’t make it but want the same experience, despite the fact that USC claims their program is unique, Loyola Chicago has a very similar program that has existed for a while. They have no application fee and no essay. Something to think about. I already made it in there with a 3/4 tuition scholarship.

That’s awesome!!

I have not heard anything yet :frowning:

I got the email saying I wasn’t chosen for the merit scholarships. Low key think I’m not gonna get in at all :frowning:

You should totally consider applying to the Loyola program. It is the same thing but at a different school. I got the same email from you at USC but I got a massive scholarship at Loyola. Sure, USC is a better-ranked school, but nobody is going to be as generous with scholarships and admission as a Jesuit University like Loyola. Applications are still open until feb 1st and there is no fee or essay so you have nothing to lose. Only pain is that you have to get your counselor to submit the letter of rec through Naviance before the deadline but that is nothing compared to a video interview and like 10 supplementals.

Anyone know of other WBB like programs. I have heard of ones at Loyola Chicago and University of San Diego and have applied to them both. Are there any others?

It sounds like a good program. I would apply, but I live in the Midwest. My parents don’t exactly have the fondest views of Chicago, even less so than LA. Even if I got accepted, I wouldn’t be able to go

For all of you guys that applied or admitted to WBB, on your FAST page does it say that the program you are selected for is “ineligible for financial aide”?

Loyola’s program seems like a great opportunity, especially with a scholarship!

Congrats! This sounds like such an amazing program and I’m looking to apply in the future! Any ideas on why you were accepted or tips for the application?

Loyola’s deadline is Feb. 1st, for anyone who didn’t get into WBB this weekend, so if you are thinking about applying, do it soon.

For current WBB students, how was adjusting to the social life of a new university every year and having to restart on life?

Hey you can still get into WBB even if you didn’t get a scholarship right? I mean all the deans still have to go out. I don’t know if they filled all the spots yet.

Yep, you certainly still can. I was just throwing out another option as WBB may not be an option financially for people who didn’t get the big scholarships.

Honestly I cannot think of how I got in besides my test scores and essays. I posted my stats on the decision discussion if you want more specifics. I think that main thing is to show what unique perspective you bring to the table and be specific about how the wbb program will help you reach your goals.

I was wondering if anyone here knows anything about Northeastern’s Global Engagement Program? I got invited to apply to it today, and it seems pretty interesting. It’s similar to WBB in the sense that you do a set business curriculum in multiple locations, but it seems more individual/less cohort-based. I can’t find many opinions about it, so does anyone happen to know anything about it?

I want to apply to USC, but I don’t know much about the program. Can you tell me about your experience.
