We are about to embark on College Admissions '06

Hey everyone!

A Message from the Class of 2006:

Well, its the end of the year, and “officially,” the college admissions process for 2005 ends June 1st, when the Common Application is taken offline. Let us gather and congratulate and/or send our condolences to all the acceptances and unfortunate rejections to the Class of 2005.

Juniors/Rising Seniors, we are about to embark on a very long and quite frightening journey. But we as CC’ers are here to support each other. Let us vow to work together until June 2006 so that all of us end up at the place where we want to be.

College Viewbooks are beginning to be mailed out. We will be getting tons of applications in the mail from the period June - August. Early Decision applicants (including myself) are the first victims of the ‘Admissions Game.’

The Common Application for 2006 will be released on www.commonapp.org on or around July 1st, 2005. I have a vision where frantic CC’ers will be constantly writing up threads on various posts asking how to do this or that on this or that application. Ah…the torture that we must endure. Let’s gather together, prepare, and unite as one CLASS of 2006!

I wish all of the Class of 2006 the best of luck!

Sincerely,

Bklyn2Cornell

Haha I wish you guys all the luck in the world!
And, I'm sure there are some others of us (including me) lingering around from the '05 cycle who can answer questions, along with plenty of admissions reps that frequent CC.

Hats off to you, and good luck for the coming year. Meanwhile, while the rest of us old geezers are packing.

Best of luck to everyone in '06.

Good luck to all you seniors! I'm pretty excited about '06 :)

ye, im so pumped.....

Good luck guys! This college admissions process is like a rollercoaster. It has its ups and downs, but in the end, you come out alive and you really do move on with your life. Good luck once again! I think I'll still be on these boards, provided I'm not that busy...

I'm amped, let's do this.

Congratulations seniors, I know you all ended up at amazing schools! And I am sure that we juniors will make it out alright in the end as well! :)
