What about places on campus to be sure and tour?

Check out who might be at the Exit/In - it’s close to campus & has some great musicians.

The Parthenon (across from campus) is a fun stop. The Pancake Pantry (Hillsboro Village) is great for breakfast. The Firefly is a great casual restaurant (not right next to campus, but not far).

As far as campus goes, I am not sure there are any “can’t miss” buildings … but campus itself is really pretty. The campus is a national arboretum, and there are walking tours on the Vandy website.

For a “hidden gem” kinda thing, there’s Las Paletas that’s 10-15 minutes away from campus (still in Nashville). I don’t know if it shows up on GPS’s, and it doesn’t have a sign outside, but you can ask students for directions and most will probably be able to help you–luckily, I have a friend at Vandy who was able to take us when I visited. Their popsicles are amazinggg.

the cmapus tour goes through most of campus, including the commons-but i don’t think it takes you to the rec center, blair school of music, to the football stadium and baseball stadium, so you can do that on your own. If you’re interested in the hillel, stop at the Ben Schulman Center. You should also walk around frat row to see what that is like.
