WE-HCOL Dual Citizenship Program - combined Honors College and Wellness Environment (WE)

Any feedback/insights about this program? Is it new in 2017?? Per the website, “WE-HCOL students will take The Pursuit of Knowledge (HCOL 085, 3 credits) and Healthy Brains, Healthy Bodies (COMU 001, 3 credits) during the Fall 2017 semester”- does anyone know if those are ‘tough’ classes? Do the HC students live in a special area of the WE dorm? The substance free environment is very appealing/good, but can people go out to a party and come back to the dorm having imbibed (a bit)?

This current academic year is the first for the combined WE/Hcol combined program. If doing it, that is two classes per semester that you would need to take so it really can clog up your schedule depending on your major. I know that the Hcol class at least takes care of the writing requirement, but not sure if the WE also ticks off a requirement. The folks in the Hcol office are very responsive to questions like yours so maybe best to email them your concerns
