Does anyone have any suggestions for me to prepare for AP Chemistry next week that just took the exam a few days ago?

Also, does anyone have the 2002 AP Chem Multiple Choice that they could PM me.

Thanks.

Included in this site are both the 2002 and 2008 exams, both with free-hand answer keys and explanations.

I have to say the AP Chem. exam administered a few days back was extremely basic as far as the multiple choice and FRQ’s go. It was a typical test on the mc, but the FRQ’s were presented in a straight-forward fashion.

I think i’m free to mention what was on there since the 48-hour no talk period has elapsed…

There was one Ksp problem (easy if you studied past exams with similar Ksp format), a specific heat problem with q = MCAT, and the last was split between a basic rate law chart and something else that wasn’t so bad. Part 4 w/ net ionics…the biggest trick was knowing the formula for propane, besides that there was a H+ + OH- = H20 SA + SB problem : D

Part 5 was where they threw in some organic chemistry since there was not one multiple choice organic on the entire test…but it was basic organic where you were given the diagram, had to name its constituents and the compound, and give an explanation for difference in strength of bonds (focus on your different types of bonds, this was seen in many places throughout the exam). And #6 had some good 'ole electrochemistry where you calculated standard energy from the chart, had to explain the galvanic cell, and a giveaway where you had to write an electron config. for an element.

Knowing you won’t get the same test though…expect the worst. I know the first problem you probably won’t get the same solubility product problem, so you will probably come across buffer, acid-base, or gaseous equilibria. Good luck on the test!

Thank you!

I also want to know this. Im taking the AP Chem exam next thursday.

Any veterans want to give their input or sites they used for AP Chem?

:) Anyone studying?

yea… im studying right now…

here is the thing: i have slacked off the entire 2nd semester (equlibrium, phase change, electrochem, entropy, acid base, and kientics)…

i have the 5 steps to a 5… but i am just reading the entire Princeton Review right now

my question is: if i read the entire PR 2010 for chem, do practice tests, and released tests from 2002,2004,2008… and 2 years of FR (2010 and 2009)…

Will I get a 4 on the make-up?
