<p>We have a couple of schools to visit next month. Do we get a feel for student body during weekend visits?</p>
<p>Depends on the school and the time of day. At XU, the 10AM Saturday tours don’t get to see much of the student body until towards the end of the tour; most college students sleep in on the weekends when possible, after all.</p>
<p>It also depends on if you have the ability to visit during the week. I know my visits had to be weekend trips because my mom couldn’t take off during the week easily.</p>
<p>Definitely weekday when classes are in session. Weekends and/or holidays just don’t show you the school in action properly.</p>
<p>I don’t know the “scene” at the campuses in question but considering the time of year it would be wise to consider the football schedule at some schools. Especially those with on-campus stadiums. :eek:</p>
