Weeks/year and hours/week for band?

<p>I'm including "Music: Instrumental" as one of my EC's, particularly the bands/ensembles I'm in at school (concert band and jazz band, the former of which also includes marching and pep bands during the fall semester). During a school day, I'll usually spend 3-4 hours, a number that varies depending on whether it's football season or not. I also usually get an hour or two of practice in a day over the summer, though, which while still technically "Music: Instrumental" isn't directly involved with school band.</p>

<p>How would I list this on the CA? Should I make separate EC listings for school band and personal time? Should the personal time even be included? If so, how would the hours be listed? (They really need to come up with a better system to describe EC's, if you ask me.)</p>

<p>don’t mention personal practice time. Just create one EC for band. I had the same problem last year because I had so many music ECs. I grouped them by school, non-school, summer, competitions, school competitions, etc.</p>
