Weighted and Unweighted Rank

<p>Okay I have a question about rank. </p>

<p>Weighted rank: 52/597 : top 10%</p>

<p>Unweighted rank: 90/597: not top 10%</p>

<p>If I'm applying to schools like Rice, Emory, USC, UChicago then am i considered in the top 10% of my class or is the unweighted rank gonna keep me down?</p>

<p>For those schools I think the weighted ranking is more important. It is indicative of your selecting more rigorous courses.</p>
