Weighting of application parts.

How are things weighted? like is the Interview weighted more than the SSAT or essays more than the recs....

How is each component weighted by each school? Are interviews more valuable at some schools?

Just thinking...till March 10th...

When I went to interview at Cate School all the tour guides said that the interview was the most important part of the application. Could be the same for other schools too.

You really are going to make yourselves crazy if you try to figure this out.

Think about it this way . . . the most important part of your application is the part that convinces the admissions committee it wants you.

For one of you that might be the interview, for another one it might be the amazing essay you wrote, and for someone else, it might be the remarkable community service project you’re involved in.

So if you’re going to worry about the not-so-great essay, or interview, or whatever . . . well, it’s not worth it, because in your application, that may not even be the piece that matters.
