Okay so I have this really weird situation on my hands and I am not really sure what I should do.... so please advise me!!!!!! I originally was in Basis Tucson in the USA which was about (1.5 years ago); it is the 9th best school in the USA. But, I've moved to my home country, Egypt, and have entered an American international school in Egypt. One thing is this school doesn't offer AP classes and the highest classes a student can take are pretty much honors courses. Now, I might be moving again to Germany;in which case, I will be enrolled in the IB Diploma system. What I fear is that I will not be good enough to get a good score in that system as I hear it is ridiculously difficult. And as I mentioned I haven't taken any advanced courses to prep me for IB diploma life. So please read over my record and tell me if I will be able to bear the torture of the IB system.

In Basis Tucson:
GPA: 3.66
World History AP: 4
Microeconomics AP: 4
Macroeconomics AP: 4
Got honor roll which meant I was at top 10% of my entire high school.

In Egypt:
GPA: 3.9
SAT:2180 (M:720, W:780, CR:680)
Rank:1/125
SAT 2 that will be taken in may and june: Math 2, Physics, Biology

For my course load over my past high school year I have taken:
Pre-Calculus
Honors Chemistry
Honors World Literature
French
AP World History
AP Economics

I am excluding all the course work from Egypt because it is mediocre and below par. So technically all I have, intellectually, is my knowledge from the course work from one year in high school at Basis and the SAT 2 exams I will be taking on my own schedule.

Based on this academic history, do you think I have a good chance of getting 37+ in the IB system?? Also, what courses should I choose as my HL's... I hear HL's are extremelyyyyy difficult. Should my HL's be the courses I already have a strong background in (World History and Economics) or should I just take the courses I like?? Does the IB system build you up if you have zero previous knowledge or does it simply throw you in the midst of all those difficult courses?
