Weird Traits You Find Attractive

Yes, I like girls who want to be equals (i.e. become men).

Lol, is that sarcasm?

Anyways, I don’t understand the whole “take charge” or “assertive and want to be equal” thing. Girls ARE equal… so if a girl is trying to “take charge” or be “assertive” it’d be too ‘obnoxious’ to me. Just let a relationship fold naturally. I don’t see any need for a girl to be anything more than who she is, in a time where both genders have equal everything…

I know this is a little off topic… but I dont mind gender roles as long as they dont become expected. For example, all those woman-in-the-kitchen/make-me-a-sandwich jokes are beyond annoying and sexist. But when I become married, I wouldn’t mind if I were the one cooking and cleaning as long as the man was being a man. I think in relationships guys should be the one to initiate. I’m all for equality but at the same time, I’m really old fashioned.

I’m referring to girls who don’t expect a relationship to be a like a 1950s household. Sadly, where I go to school, many do.

Okay but where would you draw the line between equality and having gender roles? I mean some gender roles are obvious (like women having children) and cannot be changed. Why cant there be gender roles and equality? Equality doesnt mean men and women have to do the same things. It just means that they have to have the same rights and opportunities.

Tall boys with long hair who can sing.

All girls are attractive in a way. But I cannot stand girls who curse.

@crazypluto "in a time where both genders have equal everything… "

This is a very ignorant statement. There are vast inequalities between men and women in the U.S. and all over the world. In the U.S., a women on average makes 77 cents for every dollar a man earns in comparable work. There is also the glass ceiling in corporate America; only 16% of senior level executives are women, and it’s only 10% in Europe. I could go on, but I think you’ll get the idea.

@Starbucks "gender roles are obvious (like women having children) "

Women having children is not a gender role, it is a sex role. Gender is not the same as sex. Sex is defined biologically while gender is what we think of as being male or female characteristically, which relates to the meaning of gender roles. It is important to understand the established diction in order to have a meaningful discourse in regard to these topics.

Stupid girls. Especially ones who asked if Italy is in the US…

Jk they need to be a cool person and pretty imo.

i love asian guys with pierced ears

I like classy girls, but really dislike girls who try and fail completely at it…

I know this might be weird for some of you guys, but I like guys with V-cuts! They’re attractive :P

Not a foot fetishist in the sense of sexual attraction towards girls’ feet but I will say that a girl who takes care of her feet is attractive. Also, the toes must be straight.

There are no “good-looking” feet but there are “horrendous-looking” feet.

I, like some of the girls here, really like the sarcastic-humour intelligent type. It’s just attractive beyond belief. And tall, with a toned body (please don’t do the disgusting extreme six-pack thing).

Basic line: you HAVE to be able to make me laugh. period.

And I second the whole cocky thing. ANDD I really canNOT stand guys who use extreme abbreviations online, like subsituting school for “skewl”, using “no” instead of “know”. PROPER GRAMMAR RULES.

Wasn’t this thread supposed to be about weird traits? Also, I have a feeling that what many people think is awkwardness is just 500-days-of-summer brand of hipsterism. But I digress.

I find upper lips that have one curve as opposed to two (does that even make sense? I haven’t found a way to describe it) to be attractive. I’m also attracted to:
long, dark eyelashes
cynicism
people who don’t read self-help books
people who know how to mock me and are okay with me mocking them
androgyny
people who refuse to drink coffee with milk or sugar
scottish accents
firm handshakes
people who can geek out with me, flailing arms and all
insomniacs

Well, frankly, I find pretty much any girl who talks to me attractive. XD
Physically, I like girls of any shape and size, but I do especially like blue/green eyes and red or black hair. I like girls who are as skinny as I am, and pretty much as blunt and mean too. I like girls who stand up for themselves and are not afraid to argue…
I like girls with my personality. XD

Alright, I know this is going to sound really odd because it’s definitely a weird trait that I’m attracted to but… I like girls with large breasts. Wow, I am so messed up.

Holy crap. This post reminded me! I have a foot fetish! I love girls with sexy feet, as in petite, tan, and manicured. I especially like flats on attractive feet.

I’m a sucker for a guy with dimples. Oh and curly/ wavy hair. There’s nothing like the feeling of running your hands through a head of curls.

Also I like tall guys. Like 5’8 or taller and I’m 5’1.

Toned, but not too muscular. Rolled up sleeves on button- down shirts. Crinkles around eyes when he smiles. Sigh.
