<p>So excited to find this thread. As a family we’ve loved Bard for years because of the unique socially conscious programs in higher education, such as the prison projects and the early college high schools. We like Bard’s unabashed intellectualism. DS is interested in Bard for all of the above reasons. In addition, he’s keenly interested in genetics and CS. He’s a born scientist, lives and breathes science from birth. Would the admissions rep please comment on what strides have been made in these areas? Earlier posts elsewhere on this site have mentioned that as a small school Bard has the advantage of the one-on-one tutoring.
