@Quasi- You can’t even let me make him feel better…

Nope. Nobody on your side deserves to feel better.

“I heart UD”
That sounded more like “I hate UD”

He’s not on my side yet…I was giving peace a chance.

Sherlock Holmes. Awesomest movie of the year FOR SURE. Watch the trailers (all two of 'em) now.

Gary7- “@Quasi- You can’t even let me make him feel better…” - I’m not sure if this is about me but i’m a her lol

Hey everyone!

I’m an Indian-American girl who lives in the US – I was wondering if anyone here would be able to help me learn and practice Hindi. I’m more or less fluent in Bengali, but I’d like to learn Hindi as well, and I’d be so grateful if anyone would be willing to help via skype or even email.

I know Spanish and some French as well, so I’d be happy to try and teach anyone a little (or help practice English if necessary) in return.

If you’re interested, please PM me. Thanks!

Wow, how exactly are you going to learn Hindi this way?

@true-It wasn’t meant for you to understand…so nvm
@cry- Seriously, I’m pretty curios too how you’ll manage to do that! And if you’re Indo-American, don’t your parents speak hindi?

Thai food rocks.

tetrisfan and gary – My dad speaks Hindi, my mom isn’t so good at it. Anyway, both work full time and are usually hard pressed to find time to help even though they’d like to. I’ve read on here that finding a Skype buddy is pretty good for self-studying a language, so I thought I’d see if I could find one :)

Hey i am currently in high school.and i am not sure to take the SAT. this year is the last year in high school and at the end of this year there is a national exam(kinda determines the universty you enter) but i don’t wanna attend universty/college in my country(ethiopia) but i am afraid if i take the SAT my attention would be divided and i may not enter in any of the place. If i take the SAT next year i will have to learn 1 year in ethiopia. and i don’t wanna loss 1 year.what shall i do???

If you are naturally great at logic, and decent enough at english, 2-3 days of self-study will do. That shouldn’t be much of a diversion.

gary, no one is going to believe you if you say that it’ll take just 2-3 days.

ya I know that…but I support gary here…
2-3 days (at the most a week) practice is more than enuf)provided u r good in english and good in logic…thats the formula for atleast an average or decent score…for scores like urs tetris no one knows the formula except u…please shed sum light on this topic…

pardon me for my english…I know it su***

so you think i should take the test??Do you any one of you take the test??

We all did. And we(rt and me) are also preparing for our entrance examinations(IIT-JEE, AIEEE, BITSAT, Babu Banarasi Das etc.) And the JEE is supposed to be the toughest exam in the world :stuck_out_tongue:
So we understand your situation. It depends on how well prepared you are for either? And whats your financial situation?

JEE is way easier than Civil Services…

at undergrad level noob!

rt, seriously, I never scored that high in any practice test. Luck on the test day plays a huge part. I went into the test without knowing a thing in probability. Luckily for me, I didn’t get a tough question on it.
