Well, it looks like Yale is picking up a TV star...

http://www.cnn.com/2007/SHOWBIZ/Movies/03/22/film.shia.labeouf.ap/index.html

While the article is about him growing up, there was one paragraph that should obviously strike interest..

"LaBeouf wants to fly even farther below the radar by going off to college (he's been accepted at Yale) and experiencing life outside of acting for a while."

I guess the EA kids were competing against Shia :)

hehe..

More good looking guys at Yale

Good looking?

^^^ haha. ha. ha.

Fine, Fine. Leave me alone. I have certain likes and dislikes :)
I wonder who are the lucky ones that room with him next year.

Damn, I want to ask him so many questions about Even Stevens.

Can you imagine watching Disney at Yale, and then yelling out "SHIA, come over here! Is that you man? Oh man...you look so dumb! Hahaha."

Ummmm... They couldn't accept a better looking movie star?

Sorry, but he looks like he's five years old.

"Can you imagine watching Disney at Yale, and then yelling out 'SHIA, come over here! Is that you man? Oh man...you look so dumb! Hahaha.'"

LOL!!!

I wonder what his hook was. :-P

will he be entering with the class of 2011 for sure?

I thought he was older than that.. or did he delay his college education? No time to Wikipedia it, I'm afraid. :)

I think he delayed his college education.

lol I've always wondered about schools when they accept famous people like this....like what was Shia's SAT score and GPA? I really want to know.

awww... another reason for me to want to go to Yale (even though odds are I wont get in)... gosh the Disney channel used to rock

We had such awesome TV when we were kids. The shows that are on now are total crap and kinda disturbing. lol

I miss my old tv shows, and kids tv nowadays is crap. I'll admit though that I have watched Hannah Montanna AND we didn't grow up with the most awesome show in the world- Saved by the Bell (considering we were only born in 88-89)

well i wikied shia and according to wikipedia he is currently attending the university of the pacific in california.

maybe he turned down that offer from yale to be closer to hollywood?

I think, since there was no link to show that he's at UPC, he most likely is just taking classes there, like a semester thing?

I'm pretty sure he got into Yale EA, seeing as he knows by know...and I doubt CNN would like about it.

My favorite old time shows:

Are You Afraid of the Dark?
Camp Onnawanna (is that how you spell it)
Clarissa Explains it All
Legends of the Hidden Temple (its still on GAS)
That alice and wonderland show on disney....it had real people in it...lol

Lol guys we already sound like old adults:
"Nothing is as good nowadays as when I was a kid" haha
I do have to agree with you though...all the shows are extremely violent...and then when I have to go babysit kids they are always CRAZY!

oh! old tv shows, how i miss those days!

dont forget,

AHH! Real Monsters
Rugrats
Doug
Hey Arnold!

^some other classics ;]
