I don’t think this is a reasonable request. Anyone who sends you an essay runs the risk that it could be plagerized. Plus. colleges want YOUR essay. Not something cribbed from someone else. Brainstorm your own ideas.
I thought plagiarism would only destroy my application, and not the person who’s helping me? So it would be unwise of me to plagiarize.
Johns Hopkins University has pages on its website which show many “essays that worked” over many years. I’ve also seen other books which help people write the common app essay nicely.
I just wanted some help with framing my essay that’s all.
I don’t have any specific examples, but it would be wise to frame your essay “why I’m a good fit for Wellesley based on [whatever thing on the Wellesley 100 you chose]”. A common error people make on these types of essays is to just talk about why they love the school, which doesn’t provide the admissions officers with information about why the student would do well at that particular college. So I would recommend you approach the essay from that angle: Why you personally belong at Wellesley, tied in to your chosen item on the Wellesley 100.
