Wellesley or Claremont McKenna?

So I thought I was set on Wellesley - until I began reading more about CMC. CMC seems to have it all - happy students, great academics, wonderful activities - but it doesn't have the international reputation of Wellesley. On the other hand, Wellesley has a wonderful reputation and great academics, but students don't seem to be as happy there. Choosing either school would have its own downside.

I am very, very confused now. Claremont is becoming more and more appealing, but I'm not sure what it'll mean in terms of my future. I'm already planning on going to Harvard law/grad school, and I feel like it would be easier to get in from Wellesley.

Can somebody please help??

I’m curious what it is that makes you think it would be easier to get into Harvard from Wellesley than from Claremont-McKenna…

… and I’m curious as to what makes you say that the students at Wellesley don’t seem as happy as the students at CMC. Could be the weather, I suppose. The Claremont schools have a lot of pictures on their websites of students in sandals, which is an option in the northeast for only a fraction of the school year.

I’m just basing it on what current Wellesley students are saying. Claremont students are ranked #4 “Most Happiest Students”, and even though rankings don’t mean everything, there seems to be a clear discrepancy between the students from both of the schools.

Go to any video sharing site, like youtube, and search for Wellesley Scream Tunnel, or Wellesley lip sync. You’ll find fun.
