I just got the fat letter!
I’m into my #1 college! YESS

Wellesley is my first choice unless by some miracle I get into Brown tomorrow. now I just have to decide whether or not it’s worth the extra money and debt…

Hi girls
It has been truly amazing experience to follow your thoughts for a few days on this forum only. I can only imagine how amazing you are in person and I am still hoping to somehow meet some of you in years to follow.
However, I regret not being able to join you on campus in the fall - I have been offered a full ride at other college in Boston and have decided to attend there… I wish you all the best of luck and hope to see you around (if nothing else, partying? :))!

Mirta,

My curiosity got the better of me and I looked at your other posts to see which “other college in Boston” you had been accepted to. Whoa! Way to go getting accepted at Harvard with a full ride! Congratulations!

kenzie1992,

Have you tried to get Wellesley to give you more money?

@lj1993ca- that’s bizarre you were rejected for so many schools that you’re obviously qualified (if not overqualified) for. are you an international?

@marama: I can’t even explain how you just made my heart warmer Thank you! Congratulations on Wellesley, I am sure you’ll love it!

Mirta,

Actually I’m “Ma” Rama. Baby Rama is the one going to Wellesley : )

Unfortunately, my undergraduate experience was at UCSD, which is a far cry from what you and my daughter will enjoy at your elite private schools!!!

@marama: Oh, I am sorry! I am sure your daugther will have an amazing experience, and I might even meet her. I truly believe it’s who we are and what we want to do that decides what our college experiences will be like. :)
