<p>Calling out to all Wellesley transfer students! Any advice on the transfer process? I'm currently a freshman and am hoping to transfer to Wellesley in my sophmore year. Thanks!</p>
<p>I transferred in to Wellesley as a sophomore in 2010, and I graduated last May. It’s a tough process, and the acceptance rate is pretty low (~10–15%). I’d recommend getting involved on campus and getting to know your professors so they can write you good letters of recommendation.</p>
<p>However, I’d also recommend not deciding to transfer before you start at your school. I didn’t regret transferring to Wellesley, but I was truly miserable at my old school. The transfer process can be tough, since you miss out on freshman year and many of the friendships that form during that time. I’d suggest transferring as a last result only.</p>
