<p>Well, I'm a Lord Jeff. Here's hoping you value my opinion equally.</p>
<p>A lot of my friends and colleagues, amazing and exceptional young men, are heading off to Wesleyan this year. It is an excellent, well-respected school with a strong tradition. Many people may no longer consider it in the same "tier" as Williams, Amherst, and Swarthmore, but that doesn't change it from being a superior school. No LAC is going to compare with HYP in terms of prestige and reputation, but in terms of quality of education and instruction, many LACs are superior, Wes among them.</p>
<p>Williams, Amherst, and Wesleyan have formed an elite "league" of their own, so to speak:</p>
<p>eph parent here. I support what kwu says 100%. In our town a pair of sisters prove the point: one is at Williams, one at Wesleyan. Both are brilliant, charming girls and both are very happy with their schools and their educations.</p>
<p>Another pair sisters, this time twins, has one at Wesleyan and one at Wellesley. (Imagine the horror at Christmas trying to get the relatives to get it straight.) Both are thrilled.</p>
