Wesleyan ought to get a bump up merely for having graduated Mike White, he, among many other accomplishments, the creator, writer and director of White Lotus.

I expect that White Lotus and that speech will move Wes up two notches minimum across all rankings.
I know. With Mike White, L-Manuel Miranda, the two U.S. senators from CO, the GOAT NFL coach, a syndicated tv show with a cult following, and spikey people in places of influence all over the place, I think I’d still take Wesleyan over fifteen or sixteen of the LACs ranked above it (which I found rather surprising until I actually ran my finger down the list.)
I’d throw in Jedd Hoyer, Cubs President, as a call-out. Significant accomplishments in MLBB (among other things, the GM when the Cubs won their first Series since 1908).
I also think the true extent to which Wesleyan influences Hollywood is severely underappreciated.
Wes is fabulous but I hadn’t heard that Mike White or Belichick are alums.
Maybe Tulane’s win over USC helps them quite a bit.
