Wharton and class rigor

How bad will it be if I am not taking the "most demanding" courseload? My GC said she will most likely check me off for "very demanding".

That’s very vague. What are your classes? Have you or are you currently taking Calculus. I’m pretty sure Wharton is looking for that. For your other classes, I think the Ivies are looking at your coursework based on your school and whether you’re challenging yourself or not.

More specifically: I will have AP Calc and AP Stat(Plus more, but these for math). I have a 4.0 unweighted. My concern is, I have a lot of random electives in my schedule. Random level 1 classes. I am about rank 17, the guidance counselor checks “most rigorous” only for the top 3 ranked people. I could have easily been rank 1, but my naive underclassman years caused me not to be wise in course selection.

Random electives do not show me challenging myself…I regret a lot.

I would like to know this too. I have scattered electives such as nutrition and wellness, when I could have taken some honors science class. I am soooo worried that even with a great app, I won’t have challenged myself enough. I am with you, wasslion.
