Wharton vs Babson

What is best for entrepreneurship and business in general: Wharton or Babson?

I think that Babson is better for entrepreneurship however at Wharton (UPENN) I would get a much more well rounded business education!

I am international so I dont know how to distinguish very well between the quality of education since I never visited them.

Please help me.

Thanks

wharton and babson aren't even close to being in the same league.

I know wharton is much superior but I want to know like for business is there really a BIG difference?

On the US NEWS rankings Babson is on top for entrepreneurship

USNews isn't exactly all that reliable. In general for business Wharton is among if not the best. Babson- well although the entrepreneurship is ranked high doesn't really translate to the school being strong overall.

I think Penn would be a better choice although I'm almost certain it is much harder to get into than Babson!

GoCollege you can't compare Wharton and Babson. Wharton is so much better then Babson that the comparison is useless. Wharton is the best place to study undergraduate business in the United States. Babson is not even considered as being a top tier or elite business school.

Babson is ranked number one for entrepreneurship but that is the only thing they are good for. None of Babson's other programs are ranked within the top 20 nationally. If Babson wasn't ranked number one for etnrepreneurship it wouldn't surprise me if they weren't even a top 60 business school due to the small size.

Wharton is the best or close to being the best in nearly every business field. I believe they have top 10 programs in something like 8 different business concentrations. Wharton gets many of its students into the top graduate programs and many go to work for the top investment banks.

Also Donald Trump went to Wharton and so did many other Fortune 500 CEO's and entrepreneurs. As for Babson well I don't know of any ultra successful entrepeneur who went there when based on rankings it should have the most.

As you can see Wharton is the best place for undergraduate business and Babson is at best mediocre when compared to the top of the line business programs

Thanks for the info!

I think I am going UPENN early then!

What are like the top 10 business schools?

Thanks a lot for all who responded

Thanks Dun where is this list from?

Babson is a LAC... It isn't on the same list as Penn...

Wharton kids are more arrogant so we must be better ;-)

I see. I will probably go UPENN early.

Neither Bentley nor Babson are liberal arts colleges. They are business specialty focused schools and appear on the undergraduate business programs list as well as unranked business specialty schools (Babson) and best master's universities north (Bentley).
