Yes, I know Swarthmore is a reach. How good do you think my chances are? I'm not too optimistic about this. Thanks.

You have a good GPA, you have taken all honors/AP classes. Your SAT II scores are ok but not spectacular. You have great ECs. ED would give you a leg up. Swarthmore admissions likes focused applications where an applicant has articulated why he or she wants to go to Swarthmore. You should also research the school, it's foundations and history before you send anything to them. The full-length CD that you mentioned - it wouldn't hurt to send that in. If Music is your potential major or even minor, then you SHOULD send it in.

Oh...and by the way, being Cuban American should help too. Good luck with everything. Swat is a great school.

Hi there.
Let's see, achat summed it all up pretty well. Your ECs are good, GPA is good, SAT is hovering around Swat's 25th percentile. Being a URM will help you.
Which SAT IIs do you plan to take? (Swat requires two).

I think Swat is a reach for you, yes, but not an unrealistic one. Write stellar essays. Apply ED if you're financially secure.
