What about Carleton's science?

Is it good at math? And what are its best subjects?

Carleton is good at math. The sciences as well are quite strong. Geology in particular is notable.

Carleton generally ranks in the top ten among four-year liberal arts colleges in the number of students who go on to earn a Ph.D. in the natural sciences and mathematics (geology, chemistry, physics/astronomy, biological sciences, and mathematics) and Carleton is often the only college ranked in the top 10 in all fields of the natural sciences and mathematics.

Carleton alumni also generally win more prestigious National Science Foundation research fellowships than those of nearly every other small college in the nation.

[REED COLLEGE PHD PRODUCTIVITY](Doctoral Degree Productivity - Institutional Research - Reed College)

That link might be interesting to you. Carleton ranks in the top 10 out of all American colleges and Universities in PhD productivity for life sciences (Biology/Environmental Studies/Chemistry), physical sciences, physics, and history, and is 6th in overall PhD productivity.

I’m probably going to be a biology major, although I’m in geology and have taken astronomy and Calculus as well. I’d say that the sciences, at least in my experience, are very strong.
