What accomodations to ask for?

To make a long story short, S1 is in the midst of LD testing, which is confirming that he has ADD inattentive and attendant anxiety issues. He was a senior (would have graduated this May) before withdrawing from college. He wants to return. His ODS office said he has to do intake appointments with them, but I don't even know what accomodations would be useful. They have a whole website with directions about test taking proctors and methods, but the procedure involves at least 2 different adults, 4 meetings, and a plethora of details for every iteration of a test or lab or quiz. This , for someone who is unable to attend to details or follow through, would not seem to be much of a help.

Also. By the time he returns to school, he will be, by definition, an adult learner at 24y.o. Is it better to just change his status to an adult learner and start working with that department instead of "regular" undergrad stuff? That would cut ODS out of the link. Adult learners' office has been very nice, and seems a little more in touch with students....

When I was asking for accommodations, I just wrote down a list of things I had problems with. We discussed what they could do for my problems (if anything).
