This is what people call a “Minnesota accent” or “Fargo accent” as heard in the movies “Fargo” (obviously) and “Drop Dead Gorgeous.” People with this accent live in northern part of Minnesota and in North Dakota, right next to the Canadian border. Some people might think you’re a Canadian because of your accent.</p>

<p>I live in Ohio… I was born in Canada, but we moved when I was 4, so I dunno how much that would affect me now…</p>

<p>I got a northern accent. Kinda weird because i live in Texas and have not even been up north. I would say my accent is proper english with an African accent that pops up once in a while. Oh and my Yalls, I still dont believe that only Texans use Yalls, How can one engage in conversation without Yall. Its craziness.</p>
