<p>How’d you guys get to do APs in freshman and sophomore year? Our school won’t let us do APs until we’re juniors or seniors.
I’m hoping the school could make an exception and let me to AP Chinese for sophomore year</p>

<p>I guess it just depends on the school. At my school human geography is the only AP offered freshman year because its optional. World History is required sophomore year so you can take as an AP class. It just varies from school to school.</p>

<p>I’m just wondering… Would my transcript look really bad if I didn’t do any APs until junior year?</p>

<p>@Secoja8 I self studied AP Enviro and Psychology. I took Honors Physics as a freshman so decided to take Physics B exam, not class, since I knew the material from before already.</p>
