So, anyone figuring out their schedule for next year yet?

I'm thinking....
Latin II/III
French IV
American Literature (College Level)
AP US (But with a college book)
Precalculus
Physics
History of Science/Business Ethics (Both college level and half a credit)

I was going to do Humanities also, but I'm doing that next semester. I'm debating what to do instead.

I am Thinking....

AP American
AP Phys. B
Spanish 4/5 (don't know how we do year 4 and 5 in one year, must be fast)
AP Calc AB
Lunch
Religion
English III (British Lit)
College Prep Lit (1st semester)/ World Religions (2nd Semester)

P.S. This would be my Junior Year
P.S.S Last Year of Spanish!!!! (I hope to God there is no Spanish 6)

thinking about...

AP Lang
AP Physics B/Physics Hon
AP Chem
AP Art History
AP World History
Precalc
Newspaper
Drama 1/3

Not really because I don't do that until I get the course registration form. But I do know that I am going to take these my junior year:

AP Physics B
AP Calculus BC
AP Macroeconomics
AP English Language
AP Art Studio
Drawing and Painting 2

.....and maybe AP Statistics, but I think that would be too much work.

AP Lit
Honors Physics (no AP offered)
Pre Calc
Government (no AP offered)
Religion/Digital Photography
P.E. (required)

Junior year...it all depends on what APs I get recommended for...I'm definitely taking:
English 11
Pre-Calculus (probably not taking honors)
Biology

I will take U.S. History unless I get recommended for AP.
I will take French 4 unless I get recommended for AP Language.
I will take AP Music Theory unless I get recommended for AP US and AP French, because my school only allows 2 APs junior year.
If I get recommended for APUSH and AP Lang, I will take Acting 2 in the fall and Children's Theatre in the spring.

It really all depends on how I do spring semester...

I have been thinking, but it doesn't really matter until the spring. It all depends on how I do this year, which hasn't been too good.

I am still trying to figure out how to fit the maximum number of APs in, it is ecspecially difficult when i cannot get my counselor to understand the difference between anatomy and AP chem. Right now my senior year looks like this:
AP Physics C Mechanics and Electricity/Magnetism
AP World History
AP Comp Sci
AP English Language
AP Micro economics
AP AP Government
Calc 242/243
German

ugh i think mine is something like:
Honors Algebra 2
Honors Geometry
Honors Chem
Honors English 10
Honors French I
AP USH(hopefully)
that's it,and im i'll be in 10th grade next year

Junior Year:

AP US History
AP English Lang/Brit Lit H
(AP) Physics Honors (ap test optional-i'll probably take it though)
Precalculus (Hopefully...I just need to accelerate over the summer)
Latin IIIH
Music Theory 11H
Religion Course 11
-Computer Courses (need to get regisration but probably like C++ or whatever real computer-y programming things)

...and my teachers "warn" us against taking "so many" APS!!!! My global teacher has a tangent about kids taking on too much, she should see this!

Senior Year:

AP Physics C
AP Calc BC
AP/GT Eng IV
AP Government/AP Econ (semester courses)
AP Environmental Science (if I don't self-study this year)
Something else...independent study math/science if we get enough people for it
(AP?) French IV (She's left the course at non-AP for a time because it scares people off, but that might change...if it doesn't I'm stuck with pre-AP)
(Theatre) Art(s) I (for my fine arts credit lol)

Junior Year:

Religion III
Honors English
Honors Precalc
Honors Physics
AP US History
AP French
CPR (required)
Study hall 4 days/wk (also required)

LOL what is CPR? I don't imagine the actual procedure would take a year to learn...

it's a one semester course and it mights once every six days.

I thought about it at the beginning of my freshman year.

Sophmore Schedule:
AP Latin
AP Spanish Language
AP Calculus BC
AP Biology
AP US History
Honors English 10
Orchestra(Maybe I will switch it for French 4 Honors)
Gym/Health (Required).

ap calc bc sophomore year? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
thats crazy

Senior Year (finally):

AP Lit
AP Gov/Econ (I'm not quite sure how it works at my school...maybe a semester of each)
AP Physics
AP Spanish Lit
AP Psych or Art History or Music Theory
Orchestra
Marching Band/Drumline
Some sort of math.

Emmm...

Sophomore schedule:
Latin 2
Precalc. (don't know if there's honors)
AP Chem
AP Human Geography
Hon Eng 2
Either journalism or visual arts

Journalism is a throwaway class, but I like writing. Maybe I could fix it up. Maybe not, since it's only a 10th grade class. Perhaps art would be better. I'll cross that bridge when I come to it.

Please excuse my "mediocre" schedule, or at least "mediocre" by CC standards. Those are the most rigorous classes available to a 10th grader.

Senior Year:

IB English 12
AP Latin: Virgil
AP Calc AB or BC (depends on what my teacher recommends)
AP Biology (2 periods)
and then I don't know what else to take!
I am thinking IB 20th Century, but I've heard mixed things from my friends taking it this year. I've pretty much run out of AP Social Studies to take, except for Euro, but I don't want to work too hard senior year. ;)

Also, snoopyiscool, I am taking AP Human Geography this year and I hope it's a lot better at your school because I hate it at mine!

any sophomore in ap chem is not mediocre. at my school ap chem is for seniors and they get about 5 hrs of homework a night in that class. yeah:D so hopefully its a little less intense at your school.
