What are good introductory books to read...?

...to help acquaint someone with necessary knowledge for pre-med school?

I want to be prepared for the BMAT test and also gather general knowledge regarding pre-med courses.

I appreciate the help. Thank you

There are plenty of BMAT practise books that'll help you with the test. As for the individual pre-med courses, you're better off using whatever textbook the class requires. Different professors at different colleges teach the material in different ways so it's hard for us to tell you how to prepare for a course that we don't know anything about.

I am still a few years from entering myself so I am unaware of exacting what I need for whichever courses are necessary...just looking for a few general books to read on whatever is taught in early courses

What's the BMAT?

The BioMedical Admissions Test... it's sort of like the UK's version of our MCAT, except it's for medicine, veterinary medicine, and a few other things as well.

Unfortunately I'm not very familiar with it so I can't help you with books to read.

If the content of BMAT is similar to MCAT. I suppose you could use MCAT prep material, couldn't you?
