Hello,
I am filling out the Common Application and am wondering what exactly they mean with "lower secondary examination results" and "senior secondary leaving exams". I come from Germany, so the highest class (and the one I am attending now) is the twelfth class.
I assume that they mean with "lower secondary examination results" classes 9 and 10 and with "senior secondary leaving exams" grade 11. Is that right?

Thank you very much for your help!

Under the UK System, the AS-Level is the “lower” qualification (second to last year’s worth of exams) and the A2/A-Leve is the “higher”. The Abi in Germany is the “final” I think, but I’m not sure what your lower is. From memory, die mittlere Reife is what your third-to-last-year is, so do you have something in between? (I am assuming each exam course takes one year)
