So i just graduated from a CUNY school (good school)in NY with a BA in psychology and Sociology and i want to go to graduate school. My overall gpa is a 3.3 but my major gpa for psychology is a 3.4 and Sociology is about a 3.7. During my freshmen and sophmore years, i wanted to find what interest me, so i took electives classes like accounting and i realize those classes are not for me. I have 6 C's on my transcript and the rest are all A's and B's. I want to go to grad school and have decided to stay in NY. What are my chances for me to get into Teachers College in columbia, St.johns, NYU or Hunter College. I am planning on studying for the master in early childhood education. Do you think i can get into a program for Special education for Teachers College and etc. Thanks

There aren’t any “chances” that we can predict for graduate admissions, especially with only your GPA as information. M.Ed programs tend to prefer students with some experience, but I have friends at TC who didn’t work at all after undergrad. Just apply and see what happens, or visit the admissions office for those schools since you are already in NYC.
