What are my chances and when will I hear?

<p>Alright, so my first question is the common "will I get in or not?". I would just like to hear your guy's opinions. I have a 2.8 GPA (bad i know, its because of math and spanish freshman and sophomore year), 1800 SATS, Senior Class President, Worked in the Senate for a summer, on yearbook, on morning announcements, 3 sport varsity athlete, have done community service, and have been in charge of many school spirit and leadership events at my school. All of my classes are honors and i have a couple AP'S. I applied as a projected communications major. Do I have a good shot? </p>

<p>Also, when will i hear? i applied EA on nov. 2nd.</p>

<p>Well your gpa is the one thing that will hurt you, but that does not mean you do not have a chance. You have excellent ec’s and your sat score is ok. Your upward trend, a good essay and your ec’s may be enough to get you in. And I don’t know off the top of my head but the date you should hear back is always clearly stated on the schools website, just look it up.</p>
