Freshman student at US News ranked #106 university. I am in International Business student and their undergraduate IB program is ranked number #8 in the country by US News. Looking to transfer into Dornsife as an International Relations major. Projected GPA for the fall semester is 3.72-3.77. Am I a competitive applicant? Also looking at LMU and Boston University.
Pretty decent
Your GPA is the average for incoming transfers, so no worries there. At USC, gpa doesn’t get you in but it can negatively impact your chances. Your essays and letters of rec will have to be good. And major related coursework will be good too. Have those things and you may have a chance at USC. It’s pretty tough to say how good of a chance you’ll have with them.
As for LMU, they’re not too hard to get into…relatively speaking. You’ll probably do well with their odds.
