What are my chances at Concord, Hotchkiss, St Pauls etc.

Hi, I am currently in 7th grade at an international school in Asia and will probably be applying in 8th grade to Concord academy, St. Pauls, Hotchkiss, Deerfield, Milton, etc. However, I haven’t finalized my list as I still have this year to think about it. I am also going to be visiting schools this winter to see which schools I’m interested in.

Nationality: My dad is from California and my mom is from Japan. I have one brother who goes to Peddie BS but I’m probably not going to apply there. My dad is a lawyer so I will not need any financial aid.

Grades and the SSAT: I’m not too worried about this area as I have been making A’s so far this year and for the SSAT I already took the upper level one this year and scored 95%.

Extracurriculars:
-I have been dancing for almost 8 years competitively and have traveled to Europe for international competitions
-I have played the Trumpet for 2 years and I’m in my school’s band
-I used to play piano and have received awards for it but I no longer continue it because of my tight schedule (Not sure if I should include this)
-I also do Track and Field and Volleyball during the sports seasons and I’m pretty decent in both sports
-I also very much enjoy drama and this year and next year will be attending ISTA (Which is pretty selective to get into) in Bali, Malaysia which is a theater convention which brings together students from different schools to share their love performing arts
-I have been my grades student council representative for 2 years
-I’m in my school’s service club which we do things from focusing on improving our school to be more ecofriendly to knitting hats for babies at a local orphanage
One thing I’m worried about is that I haven’t received many academic awards or have many academic accomplishments. I do participate in debate so I might go to some tournaments this year and possibly win some awards but I wouldn’t count on it. I wondering if this will detrimentally impact my chances at boarding school?

Excellent grades, outstanding SSAT scores, well rounded, accomplished musician & dancer, experience living abroad all suggest that you are a strong candidate for admission to all of your listed schools.

Maturity level, as reflected in interviews and in teacher recs, is an important factor considered in the admissions decision.
